Pick it up and read it with an open mind I understand the other reviewers when they say this has been done before, but heists movies and books are basically pretty much standardized in structure, with twists and turns, betrayals and deceit In the end, I liked it, I probably am reading it again it s a fast read, I ll give it that , but I m not sure if I will continue following it in the future It s not a slam dunk, although it s not a complete failure. As for Kirkman s name being thrown in there, it kinda looks like Quentin Tarantino and Luc Besson cashing in on previous successes they now put their name in anything they had a part in, however small that part may have been. Whether you re a fan of Kirkman or not this is a great title.Simply drawn, brilliantly written and a great storyline.no wonder AMC are thinking about bringing this to TV Love it, it is udervalued comic book not very know but it is something refreshing ok Good story, maybe a little messy and without enough development for every character I feel disappointed because the plot was quite easy related to other thief works like Hustle or Leverage , but, still enjoyable. If you are brand new to the thief like story, so this work is a good starting point Big fan of the writer of this, but the story is nothing original It was captivating for me to finish but felt a little like oceans 11. Can t wait to get the next volumes, as a Walking Dead fan I picked up a single issue in a local comic book store after seeing it was an Image Comic and Robert Kirkman s work and was intrigued After picking up 2 I knew I had to get the volumes so I could get the whole story, and have not been let down. Fantastic storyline, well worth every penny. (FREE PDF) ó Thief of Thieves Volume 1: I Quit (Thief of Thieves Tp) Ø Conrad Paulson lives a secret double life as master thief Redmond There is nothing he can t steal, nothing he can t have except for the life he left behind Now with a grown son he hardly knows, and an ex wife he never stopped loving, Conrad must try to piece together what s left of his life, before the FBI finally catch up to him but it appears they are the least of his worries Collects Thief of Thieves I know Kirkman, like many readers, from the Walking Dead stories and he does a DANG GOOD job of that So figured I would give him a shot at a non zombie story I was not disappointed This story of Conrad Paulson, a guy who pulls jobs and how he wants to leave the business is pretty good I must admit, I didn t see the end coming until..the end Redmond his work name is a likable guy as are the secondary characters his crew The artwork IS good, but I think this title could really hit its outer bounds with a compatible unique style but that would be my only change. After reading this first volume, I did in fact want to move onto volume II.
